Next we laid the oak boards down. Oakwood dissolves most types of metal, so all of the screws had to be stainless steel. Each plank needed up to 18 screws. Due to the extremely hot sun when we laid the deck, it had to be drenched in Danish oil as soon as the last plank was laid.
